I'm a composer and sound designer based at The Gunneryin Singapore. I write screenplays and make web films in my spare time, and lately I have taken a lot of photographs around South East Asia (see above).
My first short film script "Butterfingers" was funded by the AFC under the Raw Nerve scheme for first time directors.
I originally studied Architecture in Newcastle and started work the week after the quake. I was apprentice to Brian Suters and worked mostly on the restoration of historic buildings. I left work to study classical piano then "took a year off" off to study composition at the New England University, after which I joined Skunkhour. We spent nearly 10 years touring and recording with Acid Jazz, Sony and Universal before I went solo as a freelance producer and composer. I continued to balance music, the occasional architecture job, and more recently writing and making films, before moving to Singapore in late 2009.
